TAMPA, FL — Dr. Renée Baker, CEO of The RBI Group and a nationally recognized former financial services executive, author, and TEDx speaker, has been appointed Chair of Leadership Florida’s West Central Florida Region.
A proud Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida and graduate of Cornerstone Class 39, Dr. Baker brings nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, marketing, and education. She has held senior executive roles on Wall Street and served as Chief Marketing Officer of Raymond James Investment Management before founding The RBI Group.
Her leadership and impact have been recognized nationally, including being named one of the “20 People Who Will Change Wealth Management” (2020), recipient of the Penn State Diversity Leadership Award (2021), and the Tampa Bay Business Journal Businesswoman of the Year (2022). She is also a member of the Florida Advisory Board for the National Financial Educators Council and the author of the forthcoming book Abundance Unleashed.
As Chair, Dr. Baker will guide the West Central Region in cultivating statewide connections, fostering dialogue on critical issues, and inspiring leaders to strengthen both their communities and Florida as a whole. She will work closely with the regional council to shape programming, expand educational and service opportunities, and re-engage members across all stages of their leadership journey. Her focus will include creating spaces for alumni and retirees to contribute, encouraging collaboration across industries, and ensuring that Tampa Bay remains a strong voice within Leadership Florida’s statewide community.
