Dr. Renée Baker Unites Community During Week of Caring

During Week of Caring, volunteers including Dr. Renée Baker joined the Admiral Society to package beads benefiting the MacDonald Training Center (MTC). MTC provides job/life-skills training for adults with diverse abilities through vocational programs, employment pathways, residential supports, and enrichment opportunities.

The bead packaging allowed volunteers to directly support MTC’s mission of empowering individuals to reach their full potential. As the beads are sold, proceeds fund MTC’s vital services. Volunteering together fostered a sense of community united for a great cause.

Dr. Baker and fellow volunteers embodied the spirit of Week of Caring through their dedication. Their collective action demonstrates the profound impact people can make by joining forces for the greater good. Initiatives like this highlight how communities can uplift remarkable organizations like MTC.
