Last month, attendees gathered for the Leadership Florida annual meeting at the stunning SunSeeker Resorts, where Dr. Baker served as the Statewide Awards Chair. Under the exceptional leadership of Amy Mangan, the event was a resounding success, featuring outstanding speakers and a meticulously crafted program. The Leadership Florida Team deserves high praise for their hard work and dedication.
The annual meeting celebrated the achievements of this year’s award winners, welcomed new graduates, and introduced incoming classes. The true essence of these gatherings lies in the connections made—revisiting old friendships and forging new ones across the state.
Dr. Baker particularly enjoyed reconnecting with the Leadership Florida family, especially members of the best class, hashtag#CornerstoneClass39, “PanDEUXmonium.” The camaraderie and shared experiences highlighted the importance of community within Leadership Florida.
Looking ahead, Dr. Baker is excited about the next annual meeting in Tampa next year, under the leadership of Ron Christaldi, the newly appointed board chair. The anticipation for another opportunity to learn, network, and celebrate the remarkable work being done across Florida is palpable.
